FIRST: Measurable
We invest in projects where human development and CO2 reduction can be measured and verified by standards of multiple independent organisations, NGOs and specialists.
SECOND: Transparent
The investment and its benefactors’ transactions are always traceable, quantifiable and reported, and available for scrutiny by the public. Their impact and location are accounted for and available to the public, in order to be fully transparent.
THIRD: True Progress
Our investments shall benefit local people, the global environment and build a sustainable future for following generations, long after nrg4africa have ended its commitment.
nrg4africa
We invest in full-circle projects with a CO2 reduction requirement. This means that we take environmental responsibility for the projects we invest in, from start to finish: always using the most appropriate materials (preferably second life or up cycled), which do not contain products that are harmful for the environment (like lead-acid batteries). At the end of the projects’ lifecycle, we ensure that everything is properly handled and recycled.
We pick our investment projects from a wealth of initiatives, always maximising the benefit for all parties concerned. Our network of business developers, analysts, planners, NGOs and aid organisations help to identify which projects to engage in, and the ones that deliver on:
Measurable, Transparent and True progress.
